Francis Maxwell becomes an LLP

27 August 2009

There have been some changes happening at Francis Maxwell. As of 1st August 2009 we have moved from being a Limited Company to a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP).

As part of this change it gives me great pleasure to announce that Bridget Flett FCCA will be joining myself and Lana as an equity partner in the business. Bridget has worked with us since 1995 and most of you will already know her as a key member of the Francis Maxwell team. Many of you will also know Sarah Owens, who will become a partner-elect, pending the finaiisation of her ACCA qualification.

From a practical perspective, the move to LLP status will have very few implications for you as a client. Our invoices will in future be issued from the LLP, so cheque payments will need to be made out to Francis Manuell
LLP.

Where payment is made by BACS this should be to our new bank account, details can be found on the letter sent to all our clients.

Our VAT registration number will remain unchanged.

If you have any queries regarding these changes please do not hesitate to call. I would like to conclude by taking this opportunity to thank you for choosing Francis Maxwell as your Accountants and I look forward to us continuing to work together in the future.
